HP Slate blev med lidt hjælp fra Microsofts Steve Ballmer fremvist på CES 2010.
Der er ikke så meget information om denne tablet, andet end den vil køre Windows (7)
Navnet minder en hel del om iSlate, som var rygtet at være Apples navn til deres svar på en tablet pc. Det er som sagt bare Apple rygter 
Selve tablet ideen er nu ikke ny, de er faktisk set ret så mange gange, forbrugerne efterspørger har bare ikke før efterspurgt sådanne enheder.
