Som tidligere beskrevet var der en 2.5 firmware undervejs til PS3′en, med et hav af nye funktioner. Nu er den endelig kommet online og ligger klar til download under “Systemopdatering”
Dog har Sony endnu ikke opdateret deres changelog til 2.5 firmwaren, men en udover de ting allerede beskrevet (i det andet indlæg) er der også blevet plads til Flash 9 (dvs. stort set alt flash virker på PS3′en)
